Four prominent architecture critics trade stories about books in their lives: the books they read—and reread—the books they write and publish, and the books that have influenced the work they do.
This wide-ranging conversation with esteemed participants from both sides of the Atlantic and as well as both U.S. coasts will feature:
- Christopher Hawthorne, architecture critic for the Los Angeles Times and co-author of The Green House
- Justin McGuirk, design columnist for The Guardian (London) and director of Strelka Press
- James Russell, architecture critic for Bloomberg News (New York) and author of The Agile City
- Michael Sorkin, former architecture critic for the Village Voice, contributing editor for Architectural Record, and author of more than a dozen books on architecture and urbanism
Moderated by Cathleen McGuigan, Editor in Chief, Architectural Record
